This saddle comes with 2.5" color matched leathers, overgirth, premium fleece girth (GIRT 330), and your choice of aluminum stirrups, stainless steel 4 bar stirrups, down & out Aussie safety stirrups, or Aussie safety oxbow stirrups.  The brass 4 bar stirrups shown in the photos have been discontinued and are no longer available. Let us know which stirrups you prefer in the rider information text box.

All goods must be returned in original new condition within 30 days of the invoice date (clearance and used goods must be returned in the same condition that they were received). Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Make sure the return authorization code is clearly marked on the top side of the return carton. Used, damaged, or dirty items are not eligible for refund. Please make sure that the item is returned with all original packaging and hang tags. If the goods you are returning have been altered or modified in any way, this will immediately terminate any exchange or return provision. All refund amounts will exclude any delivery and or shipping charges. Credit card returns (credits) and refund checks (if you paid by check) can take up to 5 days to be processed after we have received the returned goods. Please note that your credit card company may take 3 to 10 business days to credit your account and we have no control over this part of the process. Saddles Only: As part of our saddle fitment program, we do allow saddles to be returned within the 30 day return period even if they have been ridden. However, if a saddle has any apparent wear from usage your return will be adjusted by a minimum of 15% (more if the saddle shows extensive use) to allow us to resell it at a reduced price. Saddles returned with dirt and/or horse hair will be assessed a $30 cleaning charge. If the saddle has been used or damaged to the extent that it cannot be resold, no exchange or refund will be allowed.

Nice saddle

I have a very hard to fit older horse (curved back, narrow body , short backed) and was having a difficult time finding a saddle that fit. I discovered Down Under and made a withers tracing. They made me a CUSTOM fit saddle at no extra charge. This saddle is great quality, with gorgeous stitching, and cute brass fittings and buckles. The only drawback is the black is rubbing off onto my pant legs. Hopefully as it wears, that will stop. Gwynne was super helpful and answered my numerous questions. They also helped me exchange the breast plate and Tackaberry system for the kind I liked better. Thanks!

I purchased this saddle 5 years ago (2013) and have been actively using it the past 3 years. I couldn't use it the first 2 years due to injuries related to a horse accident. If you have any hip or knee issues, then this is the saddle for you. I have a torn hip joint, and a torn meniscus in my knee and I can ride in this saddle with absolutely no pain during or after riding. The comfort of the saddle is indescribable. The deep seat makes me feel secure and there is no pelvic bone pressure point pain. This saddle is worth it's weight in gold and then some. And the employees at Down Under are awesome!! I received my saddle the day after my horse related accident and was in no shape to ride for a year (and was too scared to ride for another year after that), and they graciously extended the warranty time in case the saddle didn't fit my horse, or if it didn't fit or suit me. And they worked with me over the phone to determine the right saddle and size for the kind of riding that I do. Now that is Customer Service! I used to ride in a Western Saddle in the past, but this saddle blows that one out of the water with both comfort and style. Thank you Down Under for providing such high quality saddles.
